We bridge the gap between raw footage and better decisions. Our mission is to make organisations more intelligent, efficient and responsive through AI and computer vision, so that public space becomes safer and more liveable.

Our story

UTO Technologies specialises in computer vision and edge-to-cloud infrastructure. We develop scalable camera-based systems that detect movement, behaviour and usage patterns without ground sensors or manual input. Whether it is a bicycle street, traffic or the use of a square, our solutions give decision-makers clear, actionable data.

We don’t build tech for tech’s sake. We focus on innovation that makes a measurable difference in public space, mobility and infrastructure, with systems that are easy to deploy, easy to use and built to scale. Behind every data point is a person, and that is who we design for: transparently, with respect for privacy and ethical AI.

Belgian roots

UTO Technologies is based in Ghent and works closely with cities and municipalities to build solutions that truly work on the ground. The company was founded by Alessandro Heirman and Lindert Bottelberghe. We co-create with our clients and partners, so the technology solves a real problem.
